How do I recover or become strong when their is so much hurt and pain?

One thing i would say, nothing anyone can do to restore what had happened in your life . That's my belief that God given a choice for everyone to do good vs bad. We see many tragic happen in many lives. We do hear someone get raped , tortured and we always say where is God. God knows everything and if he wants to , he can make us like robots who only do good . We probably may not call it as life and you wont appreciate it too . I dont exactly have the formula to fetch you out of pain but i know if we pray to God ,he will bring peace and can give you strength to come out of it . There are many things you can do and serve other people and make their life happier . Their is much joy when you help people . The joy which it can bring can overcome all the pain you have. But that will take time and you need to move forward step by step .

GOD woke me up but i am just existing in this world.
Today like most days I'm still hurting from my x husband's ultimate betrayal.
I sometimes question myself as to why GOD wakes me up knowing the pain and heartbreak i've endured for years now.
I've looked to GOD I've prayed and fast, I've waited patiently but GOD has not responded to my cries.
This morning I had 2 cups of coffee and I took 3 sleep aids. Its only when I sleep that I find peace and I'm not hurting. I don't intend to kill or harm myself in any way but when I'm sleep I feel no pain.
Many say I need to talk with a professional.
GOD is that and more at least that's what I believed.
I'm not sure what to do at this moment.
Lost, hurt, pain, and defeated.

I prayed to God to give you comfort and peace of mind and healing of your depression in Jesus name amen.
