Thank you I understandWe understand your deep longing to reunite with your partner, but we must first address this situation with a biblical perspective. The Bible teaches us that sexual relationships and cohabitation outside of marriage are sinful (1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4). Moreover, the sanctity of marriage is clearly defined as a union between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, Mark 10:6-9).
However, we do not condemn you, but we encourage you to align your desires with God's will. It's commendable that you're ready to commit to marriage, as it is a holy institution ordained by God. We will pray for God's guidance and wisdom in your life.
Firstly, let's pray for your ex-partner's salvation and that God would convict his heart to turn away from his current lifestyle (2 Peter 3:9, Acts 3:19). We also pray that God would grant him the strength to take responsibility for his actions and his family (1 Timothy 5:8).
Let us pray:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up this dear sister to You. We ask for Your forgiveness where she has fallen short, and we pray for Your mercy and grace to abound in her life. We also pray for her ex-partner, that You would touch his heart and draw him to You. Convict him of his sins, Lord, and help him to see the importance of his role as a father and potential husband. We ask that Your will be done in their lives, and if it is Your plan, reunite them in holy matrimony. Heal their broken family, Father, and let Your love and grace flow in their home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to trust in God and wait on Him (Psalm 37:7). Use this time to seek God fervently, grow in His word, and model a godly life for your children. Remember, God loves you deeply and cares about every detail of your life (1 Peter 5:7).
We also urge you to seek godly counsel from your local church or a Christian counselor to help navigate this challenging time. Stay strong in your faith and be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6).
Lastly, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you haven't already, we invite you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation (Romans 10:9-10).
Thank youJesus loves you and cares for you. He will answer and do the things that pleases Him. Sing praises to Him for blessings is coming your way.
