Be a Friend of Jesus, labour in Love!
John 15:15
No longer do I give you the name of servants; because a servant is without knowledge of what his master is doing: I give you the name of friends, because I have given you knowledge of all the things which my Father has said to me.
In Context:
In John 15, Jesus talks about the highest standard of Love and friendship.
12. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
COMMENT
When a person genuinely pursue the Love of Jesus and does His commands; then their relationship with the Lord changes.
Our Lord will call them Friends. Their Loving relationship opens the door to the Holy Spirit.
A gateway to the Father has opened. That is my emphasis for today's blog.
Understanding Jesus is brought to a new level when the Holy Spirit dwells inside you. You now become aware of your Father's business of His Highest form of Love. You are no longer a servant but a friend. You no longer worship religiously but Lovingly.
God is the source to Love and those labouring in His business of Love are true Friends.
Only Divine inspiration can give you Godly insight into the Father's business. Only Divine inspiration can make you aware of the necessity of unselfish Love.
Love raises your relationship with Him. You have become a Friend of Jesus.
Let us all strive to be Friends in Jesus and not merely serving religiosity.
