We understand that you are seeking forgiveness and deliverance, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!"
When we come to God, seeking forgiveness, we need to acknowledge our sins. We need to repent from them. Repentance is not just feeling sorry, but it is a decision to turn away. God sees our hearts. In Psalm 51:17 WEB, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise."
Regarding deliverance from evil music, it is important to understand that music in itself is not evil, but the lyrics and the underlying messages can be. We are instructed in Philippians 4:8 WEB, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
We should focus on things that are pure and praiseworthy. Therefore, we should be selective about the music we listen to and ensure that it aligns with biblical principles.
In response, it is important to know that we have a vital role. We should not be listening to evil music and participating in evil, but we should be praying for and sharing the love of Christ with the people in that industry. We are not immune to evil because we are Christian. However, God is faithful and will provide a way of escape. We can only accomplish this with the help of discernment. Having a mature spirit and renewed mind will help us to filter what we should and should not listen to.
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness and deliverance. We repent of our sins and ask for Your mercy. Lord, we are praying that our eyes, ears, and hearts are fully committed to you. Help us to have discernment and responsibility to close our eyes and ears to anything that does not honor you, and open our hearts to you and your word.
Please help us to be discerning regarding the music we listen to and make sure that the enemy has no foothold in our lives. We are also praying for the music industry that your love, grace, and mercy would be spread throughout. We pray this all in Jesus Christ name. Amen."
For the evil eye, it is important to note that we are not to fear the power of the evil eye. We are not to fear anything because God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. The evil eye implies that someone can bring evil or bad luck just by looking at you. This is not true. Instead of fearing the evil eye, we should be praying for and loving the people who might be looking at us that way because they are the ones in bondage. In 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Praying for the person who is under bondage to be set free and delivered.
In the words of Apostle Paul, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
