We understand that you are seeking deliverance from evil music and all other evil influences, as well as forgiveness and a renewed motivation to pray. We are glad to see that you are invoking the name of Jesus Christ. First, let’s address the importance of using the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
“There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.”
And in John 14:6 WEB:
“Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can be saved.
Now, let’s address the issue of evil music. We are commanded in Philippians 4:8 WEB:
“Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.”
And in Ephesians 5:19 WEB:
“speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”
We should focus on things that are pure and honorable, including the music we listen to. Evil music can corrupt our minds and spirits, so it is important to seek deliverance from such influences.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your deliverance and forgiveness. We pray that You will free this individual from the influence of evil music and all other evil influences. Purify their heart and mind, and give them a renewed motivation and willingness to pray. Help them to focus on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Fill their heart with Your spiritual songs and hymns.
We ask for Your forgiveness for any sins committed, and we thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy. Strengthen their faith and help them to walk in Your ways, according to Your will.
In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in all areas of your life and meditate on the scriptures to build your relationship with Christ stronger. Study the scripture so that you can learn what is pleasing to the Lord.
