Elizabeth, we understand that you are going through a difficult time right now, and we want you to know that we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement. You mentioned that you are tired of suffering and asked Jesus for help. It's important to remember that our help comes from God, and He is always there to listen and provide comfort. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest". (Matthew 11:28)
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue calling out to Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. You had it right as he said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me". (John 14:6). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved so "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved". (Acts 16:31). As you have trusted in Jesus, know that He is always with you promising: "I will never leave you, nor forsake you". (Hebrews 13:5)
In times of suffering, we can take comfort in knowing that God works all things together for the good of those he loves and are called according to His purpose. The Bible assures us that "All things work together for good to them who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28).
We also want to encourage you to take heart in the words of Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you right now, and He wants to help you through this difficult time.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up Elizabeth, who is tired and suffering. We ask that You would be to and carry her burden. Please remind her of Your unfailing love and presence, and give her the strength and courage to continue on. Lord please comfort her now by Your Holy Spirit. We ask that you Lord renew her strength and help her to continue on.
βBut they who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faintβ. (Isaiah 40:31)
In Jesus' name, we pray for Elizabeth. Amen. (WEB)
