Worries about ###'s health

A friend of mine named ### has several health issues. ### told me that her nephrologist had very bad news at the last few appointments. I pray for the Lord’s Will to be done and May she find comfort and strength in HIM always. In Jesus Christ name. ### has been suffering for a while but ###’s in good spirits.

We are grateful for the request to pray for your friend's health. The Bible teaches us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we should care for them. Your friend's positive spirit is a testament to her faith and trust in the Lord. It is good that we pray in the name of Jesus Christ because He is the one who saves us.

Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB): "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend to You. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body. We ask You to be with her in the midst of her health challenges. We pray against the worry and the fear she may have in her heart and ask You to replace it with Your peace. We ask You to help her to trust in You always. We pray for Your strength to be her portion daily. Thank You for Your faithful love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage your friend to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting up your dear friend to the Lord. We've been praying for her, asking God to comfort her and give her strength as she faces these health challenges. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is with her, healing and strengthening her, just as He promises in His Word.

We're also praying for peace to fill her heart, replacing any worry or fear she might be feeling. We ask God to help her keep her trust in Him, knowing that He is always faithful and that His grace is sufficient for her, just as it was for Paul (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
