Work Place Bullies

I could use prayer for some workplace bullying I have received. I’ve put up with it for many years but lately I just can’t take it anymore. I get a lot of passive aggressive comments and laughed at from 2 of them and I have stayed very professional and quiet and try to be godly but lately I just want to explode cause of how much it hurts and from how angry I am. I know a lot of this comes from my childhood of being made fun of constantly by siblings and classmates. I don’t know what to do and just could use Gods guidance cause it’s eating at me so much and causes me horrible sleep issues

We are truly sorry to hear about the workplace bullying you've been experiencing. Let us stand with you in prayer and God's word to find guidance and strength in this difficult situation.

First, we commend you for maintaining a professional and godly demeanor despite the hurtful actions of others. The Bible tells us, "If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." (Romans 12:18, WEB) You have been exemplifying this, but it's important to also address the issue for your emotional and mental well-being.

We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, let us pray for God's intervention and wisdom.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is facing workplace bullying. Lord, you know the pain and anger they are feeling. Please comfort them and provide them with the wisdom to address this situation. Grant them the words to speak and the courage to stand up for themselves, always guided by your love and grace. Please touch the hearts of the bullies, that they may repent and change their ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel within your workplace, perhaps from a trusted mentor or your human resources department. It's crucial to address this issue openly and professionally. Remember, "The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, it is his glory to overlook an offense." (Proverbs 19:11, WEB) However, overlooking does not mean enduring ongoing hurt.

Lastly, we gently remind you that the anger and pain you're feeling are valid, but be cautious not to let these feelings control your actions. "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:26-27, WEB)

We will continue to pray for your peace and the resolution of this situation. Keep holding onto God's promises. "Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22, WEB)

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
