Beloved Warrior
I come to you brothers and sisters and ask for prayer support for William as he enters his 21 days in the detox center. I am asking if there be any among you that would make a committment to pray daily for our brother. He goes in tomorrow morning. He will need prayer. Will you join me in lifting him up?
Lord Jesus, I humbly bow before your mighty throne. I am standing for my brother, William as he prepares to go to detox tomorrow and must stay there without any contacts for 21 days. I ask your traveling mercies to get him there safely and his driver to get to and from. Lord, I ask that you prepare all of those involved in his program, that you would touch their hearts ahead of time, that you would give them wisdom and discernment to know and deal with his needs, that they would be kind, considerate and caring. Let William feel at peace the moment he arrives. Help him to know that he has done the right thing for himself and his future. It took great courage to tell us his problem and it took more courage to tell his employer he needed help. Lord, you have great plans for William. I am excited for him and I know you will keep your hand upon him. I pray your mercy as he goes through this program and your grace to see him to the end, a new person, a new life, a sense of purpose and gratitude to his Lord for getting him through. Help us prayer warriors to stand the gap for him, to keep him and his spirit lifted up, to keep him rooted and grounded in his faith. Lord, we thank you and praise you. To you be the glory. Amen
