Why does God get us out of some problems, not others?

I have had situations that seemed hopeless, but by a miraculous moving of Gods hand,a way was made and I got out. However, there may also be a lingering situation that, with praying till blue in the face, others, prayer sites, donating money to the church, I don't care ,fasting, the problem remains. So wondering, why does God help in some situations, but not others? It makes it look to me like God wants me to stay in the situation I hate{which is sadistic} or even that maybe He doesn't have power in that area..Because going on and on in the same problem{although others are solved} makes me cynical. I see others on the site saying they're in the same problem despite much praying. So what's up with "that one problem that God doesn't solve?"

PRAISE God that he did answer one of your requests!

I think that you are having questions that most all of us have at some point. I think that we have to remember the verse that says it rains in the just and the unjust. There are people who will walk through life with very few problems. Why would the devil hinder them when they are doing his will? Then there are people who follow God and bad things seem to happen to them a lot. God is the potter. The fire makes the pot hard. God has the right to say no. We forget that in modern ministries where we are told have more faith. Well, if God says no than it doesn't matter how much faith we have. He has the right to tell us no. Think about a child who is never told no. They're kind of brats, huh? God knows the past, present and the future. He knows what is BEST for us. We don't know that. Maybe what we want seems just and honest, but who is to say that 10 years down the road it destroys us? We have no idea. We can pray and pray, but God decides. A man makes many plans, but God decides if they work out. Many people do pray for the same things. Until it is obvious that he said no, we will continue to pray. I mean, for instance, if my kid kept talking to me about something a lot, I'm more likely to remember it when I'm ready to give them a gift. God does know how to give good gifts. So, say that your kids birthday is in a week. You have the gift ready and wrapped. The kid keeps asking to open it. Will you let then? Probably not. You want them to wait for the appointed time. Same with God. He has it, but it isn't the right time. Keep praying, but do it with a grateful heart. Rejoice when he answers your requests. A grateful child tends to get lavished with more than an ungrateful child.

i shared the same perception and situation in my life with you and your situation through prayer. i also notice and see that somehow, God seems to answer some of my prayers but not all of which I have asked, needed, or prayed about, especially the ones in which i think is more and most important in my life and needs changes, deliverance and healing. cynical is the term i would also use to describe myself and problem or reason in this situation or matter. i have no answer or resolution to this situation for myself and you my friend. i somehow got stuck here likewise as you. i think I'll continue to pray for His guidance and consoles, for direction, discernment, and clarity through the Holy Spirit. All I can think of is that we are blessed according to our's faith and belief. As Christ have told us, 'according to your faith, let it be done unto you. ' Also He has mentioned, 'blessed are those who have not seen, and yet they have believed..' also.. 'for the measured amount that you give, it shall be given back and done unto you.'

i'll post this prayer for the Holy Spirit guidance, protection and deliverance... i pray and hope that it will also help and gives you some light or resolved your situations and concerns in your life right now..

This is not easy. Trust me! Every fight or flight response in my brain wants to kick in right now in our situation. However, I trust him. He has never once let me down. Not once, even when I thought he did. The truth is that HE is my biggest supported. The devil likes to make us think that we are being punished when bad things happen. However, that isn't the truth. Anything that happens in our life is there to make us better. As hurtful, as frustrating, and as upset as things make us, it is for our own good. Like I was sharing with another person on here yesterday when they said their life has been drama after drama, this makes us more interesting to others later on. Think about it, human beings love drama, but they love the underdog even more! How many movies, role models, and respected people are popular because of their story? I heard a sermon on the woman who asked the pastor to pray that she never had another trial. The pastor said I can't pray that over you because I'd have to pray that you die. God didn't even answer Jesus' prayer when he asked not to drink the cup. He allowed his OBEDIENCE to overcome his own will. God saw the greater good. So let's be honest, if one of Jesus Christ's prayers was told no, than who do we think we are to be upset. He had no sin In him, he was the perfect lamb and son of God. Paul also wanted the thorn in his side removed and God said no. It doesn't mean we don't pray. We do. We continue. God will answer them or bring something better.

Thank you sis for sharing this with us. I think and believe that what you are sharing here right now, many of us needs to see and read this message in order that they may learn and appreciate and accept the one truth fact that we should and always shall trust God no matter what or how the situations may be or has been made. No matter how or what or in any way He choose to lead us, guide us, love us, care for us, and bless us. We must remember and trust that He see all and knows what works best. But it is a little hard for us all.. you know why? Because to be honest with you. I kind of have the same idea and point of view with you and others in this. But it is all the noises, distractions, confusions, and forced or peer pressure of our's surrounding that makes it more difficult. Its those same impatience persons around us that had never been through the situation and had never read God's words and have no sympathy or compassion for others. They keeps on pressuring and pushing and demanding that we must be as perfect as to where all the others should or could be at in our's life. I think this is why Christ said we cannot served two master at the same time. And be not conform to the way of the world. But you know, I have those sympathy and feelings for those people. Because I can somehow see that they are being caught up at between three point. And this is maybe the reason why so many mental disorders is now widely develope in our's current world. Man are being push or pressured or forced to live and serve God, their own faith and believe and also the world around them all in at the same life and time. This is what creates alot of stress for a person, their mind and their soul which most all mental disorders is having and begins at. They are all actually trying to push beyond their ability and limits to serve and live and fits in all three at once or the same time. GOD, MAN HIMSELF, AND HIS WORLD. This is why I usually prayed alot about healing, restoration, redemption, harmony, compassion, mercy, grace, and understanding or sympathy. So that those who are with these disorders may find or comes to some relief.

I know what you're saying.Still… if you want something so bad and it eludes you...can be frustrating.
Absolutely! It is highly frustrating. That is where trust comes in. It's believing that God has your best interest at heart even when it all seems to be talking apart. There is a video series by Rob Bell called Nooma. The first video episode 1 changed my life. It might be worth typing into YouTube. It might change your perspective too. Keep praying. You never know, it could be right around the corner. :)

I absolutely believe that. Often times people compare themselves to those on social media. Most people are not who they say they are. We live in a broken and fallen world. Keeping up with the Jones's (American saying for trying to outdo your neighbors) has taken over. People buy things that they don't even need or want when people are laying naked and hungry on the streets, all to impress people. It's absurd. This leads to mental illness. This is why we have to ask God what he wants us to do. So difficult. I agree with you. Keep praying for others. God has placed it on my heart to pray for miracles. At first, I thought he meant for Christmas, but he convicted my heart to keep on praying! He has different jobs for us and different purposes and missions. Currently, he has led me here to pray for his people. I am grateful for that, as it helps me not to focus on myself.
