We have a new phenomenon now. "Coming out" so we can see who's who. We have a political party who keeps taking Gods name out of this and that.In fact, the opposite, they back things that were condemned in the Bible, like gay "marriage", abortion, lawlessness.They generally side with the Palestinians against the Israelis,although Israel was called "the apple of Gods eye".Yet, astonishing to me, I hear some who out of one side of their mouth shout praises to the Lord,yet when next they talk, passionately "back" this partys "agenda".This party misuses the word "compassion", and twists it more into BACKING ones wrongdoing,and calling those who disagree uncaring, bigots, etc. They've {according to them} come to "overide" the "old fashioned" ideas of the past, {and of the Bible} and proclaim that it's fine to practice homosexuality, abortion , Israel should give their land back to the Moslem nations. In other words, they speak for the devil, for his program, and try to advance it. But what astounds me is when I hear some "Christians" who defend , and even back, this party, and parrot what they say, yes, they're the party of "compassion"{to the devil} What is it with those Christians, are they misinterpreting the Bible , or just so shallow that they don't look beyond surface appearances? P.S. There's a difference between loving sinners, and "backing them" in their sins, encouraging it.

Anyone who understands history, the Bible and current events would be compelled to vote according to conscience -- that is to resist abortion, gay marriage, re-orienting "the little children" with LGBT and revisionistic, socialistic brainwashing in public schools and colleges, support Israel, free speech, freedom of religion and the party that supports that, which happens to be republican. You are right, one cannot "Claim to know God but by their actions, deny Him" (Titus 1:16).

Most Christians do "lean right" politically, but there's a certain percentage of them that have a misguided sense of "compassion" and confuse loving sinners with "backing them" in their sin, and so seem to claim that the "liberals" are more in tune with Jesus' teachings.

To take a look at it, the "left" is plugging for one world government...which is an antichrist agenda, so that they'll all worship him.They will bring "laws" against, say, a Christian baker who doesn't want to bake a cake for a gay wedding, or a dr, not wanting to do an abortion.So their "agenda" is actually anti- God. {Like Obama said ,"That's why they cling to their guns and their religion" "Cling to".So for a Christian to back a party who is more for "the other side"...

I don't think you are very smart at all Steven. The things that are happening in this world are happening under Trump. Even though Trump says to open our economy, open our schools, they are still closed yes, even under Trump aren't they?

I think the reasons some areas are closed under Trump is that the House is controlled by non-republicans and the areas that are mostly restricted have non-republican Governors. South Dakota remained open under Christi Noem and has a robust economy in tact. So in The U.S., the Constitution gives a lot of power to the individual states. So our Constitution limits what a president can or can not do, and states pretty much do what they want.
