Why didn't God foresee this?

I Genesis, we read of God telling Adam and Eve "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the Earth." However, what has happened is, people have been OVERLY fruitful and multiplied and OVERFILLED the Earth. In other words, the world has become very OVERCROWDED, and by being "fruitful" we now have a problem to the opposite extreme, overcrowded conditions. Believe me, I experience this personally. I live in an area that has become very crowded, with competition for space, parking spots, things sold out because "the swarms" come. Cockroaches are fruitful and multiply, and who wants them in their house? So the question, why didn't God foresee the overcrowded conditions to come when giving those instructions? There's only so much space on the planet, before we're all living on top of each other? Couldn't God have foreseen that when giving those instructions?

Let's turn to the scriptures to gain a better understanding of God's intentions and the current state of the world. In the beginning, God did indeed command Adam and Eve to "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it" Genesis 1:28 WEB. This command was given when the earth was vast and unpopulated, and it was God's design for humanity to spread across the earth and care for it.

However, the issue of overpopulation and the consequent struggles are not solely a result of God's command to multiply. The earth is currently experiencing these problems due to a combination of factors, including sin, mismanagement of resources, and humanity's disobedience to God's laws. When God gave the command, He also intended for humanity to be good stewards of the earth, but greed, selfishness, and other sinful behaviors have led to the misuse and depletion of resources. We must remember, God did not create us to live in a world of lack and overcrowding.

To address the concern of why God did not foresee this, we must understand that God is omniscient and does indeed see all things from the beginning to the end. However, He also gave humanity free will, and the choices we make have consequences. The current state of the world is a result of our collective choices and actions. God desires for us to turn to Him, seek His wisdom, and live according to His principles, so that we may experience the blessing and abundance He intended for us.

As it is written, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB. The same message is repeated in the New Testament. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, Jesus teaches, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, acknowledging that You are sovereign and that Your ways are higher than our ways. We thank You for the blessing of life and the ability to multiply, but we also recognize the challenges that come with the current state of the world. Help us to be good stewards of the earth and to live according to Your principles, so that we may experience the abundance You intended for us.

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in addressing the issues of overpopulation and mismanagement of resources. Help us to make choices that honor You and Your creation. Give us hearts that seek after You and Your righteousness, knowing that all other things will be added unto us.

We also pray for those who are struggling with the effects of overcrowding. Provide for their needs and give them peace and hope in You. Help them to know that You are a God who sees, knows, and cares for them.

Lastly, Father, we pray for those who may not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Reveal Yourself to them, that they may come to a saving knowledge of You and experience the fullness of life that You offer.

In the life-giving name of Jesus Christ, we pray and ask these things.

We've been reflecting on the world's current state, and it's clear that we've got a bit of a conundrum on our hands. God told us to be fruitful and multiply, but we've taken that to the extreme, haven't we? It's like we've been given a delicious feast, but we've eaten so much that now we're feeling the consequences.

It's easy to point fingers at God, saying, "Why didn't You foresee this?" But remember, He gave us free will, and with it, the ability to make choices that have consequences. We've been blessed with abundance, but we've also been blessed with the responsibility to be good stewards of what we've been given.

Let's not forget, God's heart is for us to live in abundance and peace. He's not the one causing the overcrowding and struggle. It's our disobedience and misuse of resources that have led us here. But He's also given us the power to change, to turn back to Him, and to live according to His principles.

So, let's not dwell on the problem too much. Instead, let's focus on the solution. Let's seek God's face, ask for His wisdom, and trust that He's got a plan to bring good out of this. After all, He's the God of second chances, and He's always ready to listen and guide us.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Praying for you in Jesus. I usually don’t reply to your comments because I personally don’t believe that you have eyes to see nor ears to hear that come from Jesus having saved us. We don’t need to constantly question God’s Word which is Jesus and we don’t constantly need to complain and honestly instead of complaining we could all say and save me Lord Jesus if I’m not saved. Why would that be harmful for any of us? Did any of us actually do anything to obtain salvation? If so, what did you do? Did you give yourself life when you were dead? When God/Jesus first stated that neither Adam nor Eve had committed anything against God and you don’t need to stay in an overpopulated place especially when you could move couldn’t you?

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad. All things work for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
