There's something I don't understand here. When the disciples asked Jesus what the signs of the last days, preceding His coming would be, one of the things He said was, there will be pestilences.Very few Christians believe we are NOT in the last days, based on, increase in earthquakes, rise of false religions, etc. Now along comes coronavirus, a PESTILENCE. Fits right in with the words of Jesus. So if we knew these things would happen{the birth pangs},then why do I hear the reaction of many, maybe more than half, of the Christians on the site, all aghast, shocked, and sound even downright afraid? Is it that you didn't believe Jesus when He said there would be pestilences in the last days? When I hear the news about coronavirus, I'm not caught off-guard. The first thought that comes into my mind is"Last days".I equate it to prophecies about the last days that Jesus said would happen. So I'm not caught off guard by it, shocked, afraid, obsessed with it, etc.Because I beleived Jesus when He said pestilences would be a sign of the last days. Are any of you caught off-guard because maybe you didn't "really 'take Jesus' word for it?
