Who do you say that I am?”

Luke 9:18-20
18. Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?”
19. They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, that one of the prophets of long ago has come back to life.”
20. “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Peter answered, “God’s Messiah.”

Jesus the Messiah will return. Do you confess Jesus as the Messiah or are you ashamed or troubled by His ways? Do you defend His name, His teachings...?

Mark 8:38:
If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.'

“Who do you say that I am?”

We have Muslims and other religions attempting to infiltrate this site and spread falsehood. Just read a post recently of such abomination. I'm sad to say that there wasn't any opposition. It's good to pray for them but it is also necessary to correct them. We need to stand in unison and remain vigilant in Christ. This is a Christian site. We do not bend to other religions.

"What hangs on making the confession: 'Jesus is the Christ'?
Your eternity hangs on it. Everyone has an opinion about Jesus, but through all the voices, hear the risen Lord Jesus Christ asking you a question today: “Who do you say that I am?”

I'm not ashamed of my Lord, our risen Saviour, the Anointed. He is my way, my truth, and my life.

Mainstream media, like BBC News, want you to think that Israel is evil. However, once you do a bit more research, Israel is not evil. Hamas is evil and its working for Palestine. Palestinians voted them and they think that they have won.

When Muslims establish a majority and achieve political power in an area, they are commanded to engage in offensive Jihad. Hence, once Mecca and Arabia were under Muhammad’s control, he received the call the fight all unbelievers. In Quran 9:29, we read:

Notice that this verse doesn’t order Muslims to fight oppressors, but to fight those who don’t believe in Islam (including the “People of the Book”—Jews and Christians).

Yeah, Islam is so peaceful, that Muslims spent hours and hours trying to explain why it’s peaceful. Don’t try to re-interpret verses Muslims. It’s not peaceful. PERIOD.

I want people to pray for Muslims and their corrupted religion.

Jesus Christ the Son of the living God. He came to save, to heal, to bless those who believe in Him. This is wonderful topic to stay on and on, but so many people reject and ignore the call. Come to Me... says the Lord. I will give you rest. If anyone come to Him, truly, they will find peace and rest to their troubled souls.

When the New Testament records Peter's answer in Greek, I think it's interesting to note the word, "Christos" or Anointed One...

Remember when Samuel poured oil on David's head in front of his household "So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon David from that day forward (1 Samuel 16:13)? He was The Lord's Anointed a phrase David liked to use... Well, based on The New Testament, Jesus IS The Lord's Anointed -- Jesus is Messiah, The Lord's Anointed One.

"And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him" (Acts 10:38).
