We are delighted to join you in prayer and consideration as you seek God's will for your future residence and employment. It's wonderful to hear that you are grateful for your church and its service, and we trust that God will continue to guide you through His Holy Spirit. We are thankfully assured that, "Your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way. Walk in it,' when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left." Isaiah 30:21 WEB
As you consider moving to a new city, remember that God's will is always the best path for you. We read in Psalm 32:8 WEB, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Trust that He is faithful to direct your steps, and He is pleased with your desire to find a church home, Godly community, spouse, and a place to serve Him.
Regarding your employment, be encouraged by this promise: "For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. We pray that God will open the right door for you to find a job that aligns with His purposes. We do not need to be concerned about the exact city or outcome but we are called to pray for God's Will in Jesus Name.
As you seek a Godly spouse, be confident in His timing and provision. 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB reminds us that, "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants to, only in the Lord." This means that if you are seeking marriage it must be to another Christian Believer and done God's way. We affirm your desire to meet your future husband in a God-honoring way, and want you to know it is not good to just move in with someone you are dating or try to force the situation. Such things must be an act of faith and trust in God that He will bring you together with the right person his way. Be equally yoked with believers and do not become romantically involved without boundaries and with non-believers or those who profess false religions. We read in 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? 15 What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, 'I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.'"
Regarding your prayer for a church home and friends, Psalm 68:6 WEB tells us, that "God sets the lonely in families". As you walk with Him, He is graciously placed you in a community of believers to love, support, and encourage you with fellowship. Ask God to fill those roles in your life with people that share your love for Jesus Christ.
We are thankful to join you in this heartfelt prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for the awesome church and service that our sister experienced today. Lord, we ask for Your clear guidance in her life. If it is Your will for her to move to this new city, or any other place, please open the doors and make the way plain. Provide her with a job that aligns with Your purposes, and help her to find a loving church home, Godly friends, and marriage to a Godly spouse if it is in your will.
Help her to trust in You and walk by faith. May she rely on You completely, knowing that Your plans for her are good and full of hope. Give her strength, courage, and discernment as she seeks Your face. May she be to the praise of Your glory and a blessing to all she encounters.
We pray in confidence that "we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand through him (Jesus Christ)" Romans 5:2 WEB. "And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments." John 14:13-15 WEB. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
