Wedding shower

I am attending a shower for my son tonight and will be around my ex-husband and all his family. We are on good terms but he’s remarried and I’m not and my nerves are kinda shot & I’m just really nervous and turn red easily and I just need a lot of prayer. Please pray that I’m my usual happy self and that I won’t look awkward and turn red. Just calm, confident, and happy!

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is feeling anxious about attending her son's wedding shower. Lord, You know the emotions she is experiencing, and we ask that You grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Help her to walk in confidence, knowing that she is Your child, and highly beloved.
“Let your gentleness show in your treatment of all people. The Lord is near.” Philippians 4:5 WEB Also help her to remember she is never alone,
“Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and request with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6 WEB

If there is any awkwardness, we pray that You will guide her words and actions, allowing her to navigate the situation gracefully and leave everything in the hands of God.

We also pray for her ex-husband and his family, that they too may experience Your love and kindness. May this gathering be a time of joy and celebration, focused on the happy occasion of her son's upcoming marriage.

Lastly, we pray for her son and his future spouse. May God have mercy on them and provide them with a marriage that is centered on God and aligned with biblical principles. We pray that the son and his bride to be will look to You for guidance as they walk in their new life together as husband and wife.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it is not by our own strength or wisdom that we face challenging situations, but by the grace and power of God. We are called to be lights in this world, reflecting the love and peace of Jesus Christ. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
