We understand that you're going through a time where your faith feels uncertain, and we want to encourage you that it's normal to experience seasons of doubt. Even in your wavering, you've taken an important step by turning to God and acknowledging your need for help. You ended with 'in Jesus name'. This is the correct thing to do as Jesus saith 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' John 14:6 WEB. Jesus also said 'Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.' John 8:24 WEB. So it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let's look at the story of a man who came to Jesus, seeking healing for his son. In Mark 9:23-24 WEB, Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, "I believe. Help my unbelief!"
Just like this man, you've come to Jesus, honest about your struggle to believe. And just as Jesus responded to him, Jesus will respond to you. Let's pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our brother who has honestly admitted his struggle with faith. Lord, just as You met the man in Mark 9 where he was, meet our brother here today. Strengthen his faith, Lord. Help his unbelief. We pray that Your love will surround him, that Your peace will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray
Remember, faith is not about never doubting; it's about choosing to believe even in the midst of doubt. Keep turning to God, keep seeking His face. He is faithful, and He will strengthen you. As it says in Romans 12:3 WEB, "For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith."
God has given you a measure of faith. Trust in Him, and He will increase it. Stand firm on His word, for He is faithful who promised.
