I'm looking forward in meeting Jesus but I'm not consumed, preoccupied, and for some, calculating the endtimes/ rapture. I have devoted my life to Jesus and have counted the cost by carrying the cross.
Heavenly Father I pray that we all stand firm until You calls us home, in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus, amen.

Yeah and there are others who have devoted their talents to writing books and giving sermons about prophecy. "End time ministries". Their calling is no less important.As is also in the Bible, "Not all are--are they? And not all are --are they?'There's nothing wrong with looking towards our redemption. Jesus said,"When these things start happening , lift up your heads , for your delivence draweth near."To each their own, but try not to make like it's a "one size fits all " it's called deliverance for a reason.

God's Word is sufficient for me. I try to give all my 'nows' to Him because that's where He dwells and speaks. I still need improvement in this area. The future holds hope but I do not live there. The present is the only sure moment I have here on this earth. It's were I chose to live with Jesus. His Love will sustain me in the here and now. It keeps me fortified and ready. I cannot afford to be distracted by something that I may not be alive for. So I try to keep my lamp burning in the present not tomorrow when I wake up. It may be too late. I try my best to cling to the Rewarder and not the reward. Don't be offended that I don't share the same views with you. I simply cannot invest a lot of time on endtime ministries no matter how many books have been written. Those days for me are gone.

Are you absolutely sure that you are saved Steven and not following the Devil as a Father? Not calling His children names like a masochist for following His Instructions?
