We are here with you in spirit, dear brother or sister, as you face this crushing battle once again. We are thankful that you have turned to the name of Jesus, the Son of God, for your help and victory. It is only in His name that we find salvation, strength, and victory. As the Scriptures say, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We encourage you to take heart and remember the words of Paul in Romans 8:37, "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." (WEB). The battle may be crushing, but the power of Christ in you is far greater.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is in the midst of a crushing battle. We know that You, Lord, are a mighty warrior. We know that You, Lord, have won the victory. We know that You are more than able to turn back the enemy. We pray that You will guide ### through their battle and bring victory that is only through Jesus.
Strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit, as stated in Ephesians 3:16, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person." (WEB). Equip them with Your full armor, so that they can stand firm against the schemes of the devil, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace. The shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit.
Lord God, remind them of Your unfailing love and presence, as written in Deuteronomy 31:8, "Yahweh, he it is who goes before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed." (WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the enemy and proclaim victory over this battle. We pray that ### will find the victory this time and be done with the crushing battle. Amen.
Keep fighting the good fight, dear believer. Stand firm in your faith. As James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (WEB). Victory is yours in Jesus' name.
