We understand your urgency and deep concern for Daa's salvation and your marriage. Firstly let us we address how we pray and call on God.
It is wonderful that you ended your prayer with "in Jesus Christ name," as our Lord Jesus Christ Himself said: "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB). This is confirmed in Acts 4:10-12 where it is stated: "in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, ... There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:10-12 WEB).
Even though you mentioned Jesus Christ at the end of your request, we want to ensure you are fully aware and clear about who Jesus Christ is and the fact that He alone saves us and His power for prayers:
"who [Jesus Christ], existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:6-8 WEB).
Jesus Christ came in the flesh, being fully God and fully man, to provide a perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity. It is only through faith in Him that we can be saved. The Bible makes it clear:
"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9 WEB)
With that pivotol issue clear, we understand that spouses have joint responsibilities to each other. That is what marriage is in God. The pooling of all responsibilities and resources into one joint effort where many lasting blessings come out of the marriage under normal circumstances. But normal can be shockingly altered when the husband or the wife needs to get their priorities aligned with God's. The marriage unit should be in agreement, believing, supporting, and encouraging each other in following Jesus Christ. Marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church. Yet it does not negate the issues addressed here
"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;" (Ephesians 5:22-25 WEB).
As wives, we know there is much tension and futility if the wife takes the lead on things as is prpohibited in 1 Corinthians 11:8-9 "For man is not from a woman not from a woman, but woman from man. For man wasn't created for a woman, but woman for man." (WEB). Its the husband that should be encouraging and supporting the flock living within his own walls. With that said a woman has a voice and also has authority as a believer in God and can exercise that without violating these scriptures. A wise husband will listen to his wifes views and direction from Jesus Christ.
We tell you this that we may focus our prayers properly:
We pray for Daa, that God may open his eyes and heart to the truth of the Gospel: "The god of this world has blinded the unbelievers' minds, that they should not see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). We rebuke this blindness and plead for God to lift the veil from his eyes. We trust the work of the Jesus has destroyed every idol and false god in his life too. We pray Daa is saved through faith in Jesus and what He has done. No other name saves: Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ of Nazareth and other similar variations but in no way just a vague higher power or just god. but Jesus Christ, The Savior. No one but Jesus Christ.
We pray for unity in your marriage, that both of you may be in agreement according to God's will. You don't fight against each other for the Lord is not the author or confusion but a God of order. Principles for being in one accord are listed:
"Only let your way of life be worthy of the Good News of Christ, that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;" (Philippians 1:27 WEB).
We pray against any ungodly soul ties between Daa and other women, and we pray for a strong, loving bond between you both, rooted in the love and commitment of marriage that is permanent:
"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24 WEB). safc
We must strongly rebuke any thoughts of using manipulation or coercion to change Daa. God has called Christians to live holy, not indulging in witchcraft scheming, ( charming someone or magic or anything to cast spells onto them including singing songs to get them to cry )or manipulation, "There must not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who practices divination, one who tells fortunes, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or someone who consults with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). Instead, walk in love, patience, and faith, trusting God to work in Daa's life and your married life. Seek and believe to God to answer prayer without disobeying Jesus Christ.
Our compassionate prayer should sound like love and encouragment like this:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up to You, together as one this dear woman of God and her Husband and their situation. We seek Your Holy Insights in courtship that draws her and her husbamd closer to each other so both of them can pursue more of You and Your will in their marriage. We trust Jesus atoned for them so they can know Him and His Will personally.
We pray against any false gods, idols, and ungodly influences in Daa's life. Dear God, would You destroy their influence and open his heart to the truth of the Gospel. We pray for his salvation and for unity in their marriage. Holy Spirit do deal with all extra-marital attachments and set him free with truth and spirit bonds in the name of Jesus.
Father, forgive us when during times we are weak we pray for methods of prayer to get results but may instead cross the bounds of your will for us. Truly we wait on You, Your will, Your ways, and your timeframe in our lives so that You can do your work in the husband and wife ( the hanfd and glove )which You have given us in life. We thank You our marriage has a purpose and all Your purposes succeed ( Isaiah 55:11). The Word of God will not void since that's your will and not ours while we are here on earth. We pray to be subject to our husbands as the church is subect to Christ Jesus.
Strengthen the wife so she can give encouragement and words of widsom to her husband to strengthen the family as one unit. No outside latches to the family. One joined unit that improves or prospers as they are each other's best friend and confidant that seeks God's will for their family unit and themselves. Father help the wife remove herself from leading the ship instead of being the wings with her husband taking the helm. In all things they are one as you ordained Jesus Christ. In the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Holy Father, Saving this marriage and Daa is a trust we pray believing its possible to recover. We also cast our care upon You for You care for us (Psalm 55:22). In Jesus Christ of Nazareth name we pray. Amen.
