I need a LOT of intense and immediate prayer for a situation some friends of mine are in! I've posted a few requests about it but recent developments have made it VERY urgent!!
Here's some background first so you know better how to pray:
There's no way to say this quickly so please forgive the length! But try to bear with me!
A friend from church, her son, a strong Christian who loves God with all his heart, has been in county jail for nearly a year (WITHOUT a trial, they keep putting it off), for killing his girlfriend. He did NOT kill her, and instead it was another family member that killed her. (And I know this because his mother is not a liar and she says he didn't, and everyone else he knows says it too). That family member is currently in jail as well, and likely will be charged and may be looking at life in prison. The police and the prosecutor and law have all been against him and his mom (it's as if Satan is using them against them to squelch and quiet them), even to the point of the police mocking her when they came after the murder, telling her her son's life was over. *Everyone* my friend's son knows, knows that he loves God, and loved his girlfriend (with whom he had a son) very dearly, and would never have harmed, much less killed, her. During all of this occurring, his girlfriend's family barged into my friend's house, while someone was there watching her grandson, and kidnapped him, walking out of the house with him; he's been with them ever since and my friend hasn't seen him (they are badmouthing her and say she's a drug addict) other than pictures on a social networking site.
Here's the new developments: they are trying to get him to admit that he had a small part in the family member's plan to kill his girlfriend, in which case he would be let out of jail soon BUT a felony would be on his record, for many years, which would prevent him from getting a job and prevent him from getting his son back, since CPS obviously will not give someone's kid back to them if they are a convicted felon. HOWEVER, if he does NOT take that option and admit that, then (long story short) he could face 35-40 years in prison! For a crime he did not commit!!! NEITHER of these things should be the case! He should be acquitted as he did not commit the crime or even have a small part in it.

Please pray that:
- God stops the trial (which is set for mid-April) from being rescheduled! This is important and first and foremost!
- Next most important thing, that God selects the jury himself and that he chooses people who will see my friend's son's innocence, and rule fairly and accordingly! This is a key need and request!!!!!
- That all the corrupt people in the situation, who are trying to get my friend's son's life ended, would be judged by the Lord and get fair justice in their life as a result of their actions and at the same time be "deactivated" from doing any further harm in the situation
- That all the people that can vouch for him and that knew him and his girlfriend will be willing AND able and *allowed* by the court, to take the stand and vouch for him. I wouldn't put it past the court to not allow anyone but damaging witnesses.
- Please pray that God would give all involved strength, peace, and "centered quietness" in the soul for everyone that is upset by the situation.
