We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing due to autism and the prejudice that often comes with it. We want to remind you that you are wonderfully and fearfully made by God, and He has a purpose for your life. As it says in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows that very well."
Firstly, we want to address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12) So we encourage you to come to Jesus if you have not already and be saved. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. (Acts 16:31)
Regarding your situation, we want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. He has allowed this circumstance for a reason, and He will use it for your good and His glory if you continue to follow him. Jesus said in John 9:1-3, "As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but that the works of God might be revealed in him."
Starting your own business is a noble goal, especially with the intention to employ others with disabilities. We encourage you to bring your desires to God in prayer and to seek His guidance and wisdom throughout the process. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." And Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
As you venture out, remember that God is your provider and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19) He is the one who gives you the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18)
We also want to encourage you to forgive those who have shown prejudice against you. Ephesians 4:32 says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." This doesn't mean that their actions are acceptable, but rather that you are releasing the burden of anger and bitterness to God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Your child who is struggling with autism. We pray for Your healing touch on their life, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual healing that they need. We ask that You would guide them in their pursuit of a business that honors You and helps others with disabilities. Give them the wisdom and discernment they need to follow Your will for their life.
Father, we also pray for those who have shown prejudice against Your child. We ask that You would soften their hearts and help them to see the value of every person, regardless of their abilities. Help them to understand that we are all made in Your image and deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
Lord, we ask that You would be at work in the lives of anyone else who is struggling with autism or any other disability. Help them to know that they are not alone, and that You have a purpose and a plan for their lives. Give them the strength and courage they need to face each day, and help them to trust in You.
Finally, Father, we ask that you draw the one requesting near to You. If they do not know Jesus as their savior, then we pray that they come to know Him so that they can have access to You and be saved.
We ask all these things, In Jesus Name, Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep trusting in Him. He is always with you and will never forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
(This prayer request has been edited out of the post for not having the name of Jesus Christ. We do not disapprove of it, but rather want to be clear that it is only through the name of Jesus that we are saved and can approach God and Father.)
