We understand your distress and will stand with you in prayer and guidance through this challenging situation. We are reminded in Romans 8:28, All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. WEB
Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in this time of need and for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. WEB
In this trying time, we encourage you to find peace in God's sovereignty. Remember that God is in control, and His plans are always for your good, even when circumstances seem unfair. As you face this change that you did not desire, trust in Him and in Jesus who gives you strength. As it says in the Bible, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
While it is natural to feel upset and frustrated when others seem to benefit at your expense, we must be cautious not to fall into envy or bitterness. Let us remember in the Bible in Ephesians 4:31-32, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you and in Proverbs 14:30 WEB, A tranquil heart is life to the body, but jealousy is rottenness to the bones. Instead, let us pray for contentment and peace in your current situation, and for God's will to be done in your career. It is possible that God has new opportunities and blessings in store for you at this in-person school. We will pray for a smooth transition if this is the Lord's will and that you find favor with your new colleagues and students.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is facing a difficult change in her career. Lord, we ask for Your peace and comfort to fill her heart as she navigates this transition. We pray for Your will to be done in her life, and for new opportunities and blessings to arise from this change.
Lord, we ask for protection and favor in her new position. Help her to adapt quickly and to find joy in teaching her students in person. We also pray for her colleagues, that they may be blessed with wisdom, understanding, and kindness.
Father, we ask that You help her to trust in Your sovereignty and to find contentment in her current situation. Help her to avoid envy or bitterness and to focus on Your goodness and faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You continue to guide her steps and to lead her in the path that You have prepared for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
