We understand your distress and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. It's important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our careers and positions. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Firstly, we commend you for ending your request with "In Jesus name." This is vital because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as the Bible says in John 14:6 WEB: "No one comes to the Father, except through me."
However, we must address something in your request. As believers, we should be cautious not to be driven by what seems fair in our own eyes, but to trust in God's plan. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Instead of focusing on the seniority or the actions of others, let's pray that God's will be done in your life and that He would give you peace and guidance during this transition. Colossians 3:23-24 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our ### who is facing a change in their workplace. Lord, we ask for Your divine will to be done in their life. If it is Your plan for them to remain in their current position, we ask for Your favor and protection over their role. If it is Your will for them to move, we pray for Your guidance and peace during this transition.
Help them to trust in You and to work heartily, as unto You and not unto men. Shield them from feelings of unfairness or discontent, and fill them with Your love, joy, and peace. Give them the strength to forgive anyone who may have wronged them and to bless those who curse them, as Your Word instructs us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith.
