Urgent prayers

Please pray for my son who is desperate And not wanting to continue with life. Please pray in Jesus’ name that he will be changed and find all he needs in life. In Jesus’name we pray that my son will live amen

We are deeply moved by your request for your son in need of and are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly we acknowledge that your request came using the name of Jesus. Only he can intervene for us and only through him do we have access to the throne of God. We know that only Jesus can save and offer eternal life through faith in him alone. Faith believing in his name is necessary. WEB "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Let us first acknowledge that faith in him grants us salvation and thus access to come to him for our petitions to God. We are calling out in confidence that the Lord will hear and intervene in this situation. There are many instances in scripture that references our children and calling out for faith in them.

Because you have not mentioned specific details about your son's struggles, we will pray a general prayer for his well-being and future to be grated faith. If there are issues which are sin in nature it is good for him to know repentance for him to experience salvation. We stand for him with this in mind. This isn't the time for condemnation but acknowledgement of sins if that is the cause of these thoughts and prayers for them to end, for forgiveness, and be done with these thoughts. Even if his desperate feelings are not the result of a specific sin, we know that God is close to the brokenhearted and will hear our prayers. We rebuke any plan of the enemy to take your son's life or harm your son and encourage your son to cling to God in his struggles. We pray his faith is grated to increase in Jesus Name.

Psa 34:18 WEB Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit.

In our prayers, we ask for any unhealthy influences, bondage, sin, or past hurts may also be causing these desperate feelings for his life. If there is physical sickness please ask for our prayers so we can pray over it as well. Sometimes our negative thought can come from there. A frequent issue can be depression. Another for children and teens is cyber bullying which affects both the victim and the instigator. Our request is for your son to have a hedge of protection surrounding him in Jesus Name and that whatever obstacles are causing his desperation that you will seek out and find with Christ's guidance. WEB Stand therefore, having fastened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness WEB Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. "Stop being conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Together let us pray for your son:

"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, pleading for the life and well-being of this beloved son. We know our enemy, the devil is a like a lion roaring in the dark ready to attack. You are with the brokenhearted and we cry to you in the name of your only begotten son Jesus, O Lord. We plead your gracious and merciful blood bought rights for the soul of this beloved young man in need of his savior Lord Jesus Christ. May he grant forgiveness if that need is there. Search our hearts O lord and know our need for you now in prayer. Have mercy on him and draw him close to you we ask O lord. Grant him the faith and a desire for living. Lift him up from the pit of despair O Lord. Release the material, emotional and physical bondage you may find in need. Lead us on how we can be supporters of our family O Lord. Save his soul and grant him new life O Lord, transform him with your Holy Spirit and touch his heart today. Remove any obstacles preventing him from experiencing the fullness of life we ask. Protect him from the wickedness of this earth, O Father, Jesus, and our Advocate and Helper to the Father. We bind the lies of the enemy seeking to destroy this family and rebuke the forces of darkness seeking to take control O Lord.

And We join our prayers to yours of Rewin to cover your family in faithfulness to your son Lord Jesus in worship and belief of your spirit. God, O Father, send your ministers to cover him with prayers, heal his broken heart, provide for all his needs, and bring him your inner peace, we ask in Jesus Name. Amen

Seek Christian counseling to help and deliver your son in this time of struggle. Remember to be his parent who pray and act in seeking God. Walk in love, patience, kindness and compassion in seeking God and his purposes with your son. Walk alongside him in his valleys and hills of his life and steer him in finding God's design and purpose for him in Jesus Name and trust God in guiding and working in his life. Watch out for fornication (premarital sex or a sexual relationship with someone he may meet), substance abuse, social media exposure which can all lead to depression in someone this age. Allow your son to access Christian music and radio station for his entertainment instead of popular music in the air now. Bring your son to hear regular sermons to help increase his knowledge in the Bible and offer him verses to pray with him during this hard time.
