We are truly saddened to hear about your suffering, Elizabeth, but we are here to stand with you in prayer and truth. Let us first remind you of God's unchanging nature and compassion, as mentioned in Hebrews 13:8 WEB, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
In your pain, both physical and mental, remember that God is close to you. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray for your healing, that the Lord would touch your body and mind, and grant you peace and health.
"Lord Jesus, we come before You with Elizabeth. We ask for Your healing touch on her body. Ease her stomach pain and grant her peaceful sleep. Calm her mind and deliver her from mental torment. Guide her doctors and give them wisdom regarding her medication. Lord, You never turn away those who come to You for healing. We claim Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17 WEB, 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh.'"
Elizabeth, we understand your concern about medication. Be open with your doctor about your desires, and trust God to guide the conversation. Remember, God's power is not limited, and He can heal you regardless of your medical treatment.
We also want to address the impact of your illness on your sister Margaret. It's important to find joy and laughter even in difficult times. Proverbs 17:22 WEB tells us, "A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." We pray that God would fill both of your hearts with joy and laughter once again.
"Lord, we also lift up Margaret to You. Bring healing and joy into their sisterhood. Let their laughter fill their home again, in Jesus' name."
Lastly, we want to commend you for crying out to Jesus. It's only through His name that we have access to God, as Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Hold onto His promises and never stop seeking Him.
Stay strong in the Lord, Elizabeth. We are here with you in prayer.
