Urgent Prayer Needed to Heal My Dad

Please pray for my father Garnet. He is a multiple time survivor of stage 4 cancer and for the last year (been in remission for 12 years) he has been declining. A year ago he got bad back pain he kept saying was sciatica. It got worse and worse and then his feet swelled (mostly right side but both) . Then both legs became numb to the point that he can't walk. The numbness then spread to his forehead and mouth. So it's getting to where he cannot eat. Prayer are needed now more than ever.

We are truly saddened to hear about the declining health of your father, Garnet, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. First, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

And in Acts 4:12 WEB:

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!

Let us pray together for Garnet's healing and comfort:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention and healing for our dear brother, Garnet. Lord, You know his struggles and pain, and You hear the cries of his heart and those who love him.

Father, we ask that You touch Garnet's body, heal his back pain, reduce the swelling in his feet, and restore sensation to his legs and face. We pray that You would enable him to walk again and to eat without discomfort. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave Garnet's body in Jesus' name, as per Matthew 10:1 WEB:

He called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.

Lord, we also pray for Garnet's spiritual strength and comfort during this challenging time. Help him to remain steadfast in his faith and to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. We also Remember 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB:

He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

Father, we ask that You would surround Garnet and his family with Your love, peace, and comfort. Guide the doctors and medical professionals attending to him, and give them wisdom and discernment in their decisions.

In Jesus Christ name, we praise you and give thanks to you in faith believing for this prayer. Lord, let Your will is done in Garnet's life and in the lives of his loved ones. We are by faith waiting for your answer.

Take comfort in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful and hears our prayers. Keep your eyes fixed on Him during this challenging time, and trust in His unfailing love and goodness, as per 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB:

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Galatians 6:2 WEB: Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

In addition, make sure Garnet has accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior, to have assurance of salvation. Only by this is he able to move on to more healing as shown in the book of James 5 regarding praying for the sick.

We're here for you and Garnet, lifting him up in prayer. We've been reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's stand together in unity, asking God to heal Garnet, to touch his body, and to bring relief to his pain. We believe in the power of agreement, so we join our faith with yours, trusting that God will answer according to His will. Let's also remember to support each other, as Galatians 6:2 encourages, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." We're here to walk alongside you and Garnet during this time. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
