We understand your urgent plea for the return of your loved one. Let's stand together in prayer and seek God's will in this situation.
Firstly, you did not include any details of who or what situation this is. This is important to know for us to pray with you more specifically.
Let us remind ourselves that God cares for each one of us, as a good shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep. Our Lord Jesus demonstrated this love, as it's written in Luke 15:4-7 WEB:
"Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance."
Together we will pray for that person, 'Let's pray.
Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking that Your will be done in this situation. We ask for the return of the one who is away and plead Your grace and mercy over their life. We trust in Your love and care for each one of us, and we ask for a swift and safe return of this individual, if it is Your will. Help the person who submitted this request to understand that we cannot claim to know God's will but only ask that God's will be done.
We also pray for the one who submitted this request. If they have not repented and believed in Jesus Christ, then we pray they will do so now. If they have trusted in Jesus Christ as their savior, then we pray they will pursue a close and growing relationship with God. Amen.
