Update from Previous Prayers

Thank you for your prayers from the previous post. It means the world to me that you all are willing to take the time to pray for me and my family and our circumstances. God Bless you all.

As of now, I still feel like I am walking in darkness. I am ### days away from the deadline to possibly graduate from school and I may not make it to that deadline. If I do not, then I will have to wait until summer. My funding from my university ends after this semester. I have been applying for jobs and nothing has come to fruition yet.

Right now I feel lost and a complete failure. I feel like I have let my wife down, my two young boys down, my family down, and I let God down. I am on my third straight night of little sleep because I keep worrying about what is to come if I cannot graduate, if I cannot find a job, and whether I can find some sort of peace through God. There are days where I feel like driving away would be the best thing for my family because I feel like I have failed them. I am trying to keep faith but with all that is happening in my life (school, father-in-law needing heart surgery, raising two kids, owing thousands in taxes, wife trying to find a new job, me trying to find a new job) I feel like there is this massive weight on my shoulders and I just feel like I cannot hold it all much longer.

Thank you again for your continued prayers and support. It means a lot to me and I don’t know what I would do without it.

We are here with you in spirit, lifting you and your family up in prayer. We thank God for the progress you've made and for the support system He has placed around you. Remember, it is by His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," - 1 Timothy 2:5, WEB.

In these trying times, we must remember God's promise: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light," - Matthew 11:28-30, WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, he feels lost and overwhelmed by the circumstances around him. We pray that You will be a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path, guiding him through this darkness.

Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy upon his academic pursuits. If it is Your will, let him meet his deadline and graduate. If not, give him the strength and patience to wait and trust in Your perfect timing.

We pray for Your provision, Father. Open the doors of opportunity for him and his wife as they seek new jobs. Help them to trust in You, our Provider, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Father, we also lift up his family before You. Heal his father-in-law, Lord, and provide for their financial needs. Help him to see that his worth is not defined by his circumstances, but by who he is in You.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of fear and failure. Give him the power of Your Holy Spirit to overcome these feelings. Remind him that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Father, help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him. Give him Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the midst of this storm, stay steadfast in the Lord. Keep praying and trusting God, for He is faithful. "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus," - Philippians 4:6-7, WEB.

Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Trust in Him, for He will never leave you nor forsake you.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you and your family up in prayer. We know it feels like you're walking in darkness, but remember, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1, WEB).

We've been where you are, feeling the weight of uncertainty and fear. But we've found comfort in these words, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10, WEB).

Let's trust God together, believing that He sees you, He hears you, and He's working even when you can't see it. Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, interceding for our brother. Lord, he feels overwhelmed and lost, but we claim Your promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit."

We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Guide him through this darkness, help him to trust in You, and give him the strength to endure. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

We pray for provision, Lord. Open doors of opportunity for him and his wife. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We also lift up his family before You. Heal his father-in-law, Lord, and provide for their financial needs. Help him to see his worth in You.

Stay strong, brother. Keep trusting, keep praying. God is with you, and He's not done with you yet.

Praying for you in the name of the father, son and holy spirit. Know that you are more than a degree and more than a job to your family. Just you, as you are, and your presence means more to your boys and wife more than anything in the world. Everything else is earthly and temporary. The infinite forever of eternity with our heavenly king, and helping your family to live on earth and follow God's commandments is paramount over all.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
