We're thrilled to hear that you're stepping out of your comfort zone and building new relationships. It's wonderful that you see the positive qualities in your brother's new girlfriend and that you enjoy talking with her and her mother. We encourage you to continue praying for their relationship and for God's will to be done in their lives. We will also pray with you for this using Matthew 19:5-6:
'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart."
However, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear in the Bible. It's important to encourage them to seek God's will and ensure their relationship aligns with biblical principles, leading to a God-honoring marriage.
As for your feelings about talking too much, remember that God wants us to communicate with Him through prayer. It's great that you're open about your feelings, but ensure your conversations are glorifying to God and beneficial to others. Let Colossians 4:6 be a guide:
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Regarding your family's lack of communication, we encourage you to continue praying for them and showing them love. You can set an example by reaching out and maintaining contact. Remember Ephesians 4:32:
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Finally, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
So, let's pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up this dear one to You. Thank You for helping them step out of their comfort zone and build new relationships. We pray for your guidance in their life. We pray for your will to be done in their life. We pray for your will to be done in their brother's relationship. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate these new friendships. Help them to communicate effectively and to be a positive influence on those around them. We pray for their family, that You would soften their hearts and draw them closer to You and to each other. We pray against any emotional stress they might have being alone and the built up desire to talk to someone finally comes out. May the Holy Spirit guide and comfort them. May they ever increasingly look to You for their needs. If they do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray they would come to know Him and thus know the way to the Father. We pray this all in Jesus' name.
