13 week pregnancy with complications
My husband and I met later in life. We chose to have a baby to complete our family - my first, his second. We were blessed Mother's Day to learn we were pregnant. Testing is now showing an abdominal wall defect and possible chromosomal abnormalities.
I am 13 weeks pregnant with a much desired baby. I want and love this little being tremendously. We had blood work showing an elevated risk for chromosomal abnormalities. Ultrasound is now showing an abdominal wall defect that may be associated with further complications - at best our baby will need surgery when it's born.
Pray to whatever power, or being, you believe in - I have no qualms about any religion and gratefully accept blessings, prayer, positive thoughts, ritual for health, or energy sent to heal. I love this little being and want it to have no further problems than the one we already definitively know. Please, ask for our baby to born healthy both mentally, and physically, and in return we promise to be the very best parents possible for our blessing.
I have no formal prayer to post - I simply ask you to send your light and positivity to our baby. Say what feels right to you, ask God, light a candle, include us in your prayers this night. Thank you.
