We understand that you're struggling with unbelief, doubt, and fear, and that you're battling with sin, bad thoughts, anger, and emotional pain. First, let's address the feeling of unbelief and doubt when praying. In James 1:6-8 (WEB) it says, "But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."
Faith is essential when coming to God in prayer.
Jesus said in Mark 11:24 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Let's address the sin and emotional pain you're dealing with. In Romans 7:18-20 (WEB) the Apostle Paul says, "For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don't find it doing that which is good. For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice. But if what I don't desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me."
Paul also talks about anger and negative thoughts, saying in Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" and in 2 Corinthians 10:5 (WEB), "throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It's important to pray in Jesus' name, as it says in John 14:6, "Yeshua said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 it says, "'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this dear one struggling with unbelief, doubt, and fear. Lord, we ask that You strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You completely. Help them to believe that they receive what they ask for when they pray.
Father, they are also battling sin, bad thoughts, anger, and emotional pain. We ask for Your forgiveness and Your healing power to wash over them. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Help them to put away all bitterness, wrath, anger and replace it with kindness, tenderheartedness and forgiveness.
We pray that the person requesting prayer also learns to pray in the powerful name of Jesus and to accept salvation in no other way or name.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy and his lies. We claim victory over these struggles. Let your light shine in their heart and let them be a testimony of your love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to cast your burdens on the Lord, and remember that God is faithful and that His promises are true. Keep praying and seeking His face, and always, always pray in the name of Jesus. You are loved, and God is working in your life.
