Two requests to pray with me please 🙏🏼

Today was a roller coaster, and I wanna ask you to please pray with me for two things. ** 1 ** It’s 7.30 PM (###) now. And earlier today I had an interview for a job I really want and need. My partner and I have zero income since this month, she’s sick and we’re living off of loans. Also, it’s my dream job. There are two other candidates in the running. But they’ll make a decision in the coming 18-24 hours or so and call me tomorrow to tell me if I got the job or not. Will you all please pray for me? ** 2 ** Then, this afternoon, I got a call from one of my best friends. He only told his employer and now me that only yesterday his partner had a miscarriage. They discovered that the 10 weeks old foetus had no beating heart while in the hospital for an echo. Since last night my friend’s partner has been in terrible pain, since it is still inside of her and her body started rejecting the dead foetus’ body. My best friends told me he’s been breaking down crying all day - while I’ve never seen him cry in all the years that I’ve known him and worked very close with him. — So my heart really breaks for them and I wanna cry so hard. But I’m in the train on my way home. So, all I can do now is pray. Will you please pray with me for the little one who didn’t make it? And will you please ask our Lord, in Jesus’ name, to give my best friend and his partner the strength to get through this & pray for a speedy recovery for his girlfriend? Thank you for reaching out and sharing your requests with us. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to address your job situation. It's clear that you are in need of God's provision, and we trust that He is faithful to provide. We want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB): "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

We pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a job. We know that You are the provider of all good things, and we trust that You have a plan for them. We pray that if it is Your will, they will get this job that they desire. We also ask that You provide for their needs, as they wait on Your timing. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your kingdom first. We ask this in Jesus' name.

Secondly, we want to lift up your friends who have gone through this painful loss. We grieve with them, and we trust that God is close to the brokenhearted, as it says in Psalm 34:18 (WEB): "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

We pray:

Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister's friends who have lost their little one. We pray for Your comfort and strength to be upon them during this difficult time. We ask that You bring healing to their partner, both physically and emotionally. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them. We ask this in Your precious name.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Regarding your living situation, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As you navigate through this difficult time, we encourage you to seek God's will for your relationship and to trust in His timing.

We are here for you, and we will continue to pray for you and your friends.

We're here with you, friend. We've been thinking about you and your requests all day. We want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for you.

Firstly, about that job interview. We're right there with you, believing that God's got this. We're claiming Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) over you: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." So, let's trust that God will give you the peace that surpasses understanding as you wait for that call.

Secondly, our hearts ache for your friends. We're praying for comfort and strength for them, just like we'd want for ourselves if we were in their shoes. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 (NIV) over them: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for God to heal their hearts and bring them peace.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep holding on. We know it's tough, but God sees you. He's right there with you, just like He promised in Matthew 28:20 (NIV): "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. You're not alone.

Thank you so so much for these prayers and for the fact that you’re here with me/us.
May the Lord bless you a thousand times over.

Your prayers and words really touch me and empower me. And actually, having received your quick replies and feeling your love and cares, I am now convinced to rejoin a church, after a long time of existential doubts and moving to a whole new place and not going to church anymore.

Just the other day I actually found a church community close to my new house which is of the same tradition as I grew up with. This must be a sign. Thank you all so much.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh...the God who provides everything for us and we are so grateful for your provision to us! Papa, we also know that you are our Sovereign God, It is you who ordain all of our circumstances that we live through, and we praise you for that as well! Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you lead them to the job of your choosing in the near future. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist them during this time of need and ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you....in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to hold you up in prayer, dear friend. It has been a few days since you shared your heart with us, asking for prayer for your job interview and for your friends who suffered a devastating loss. We are thankful that you allowed us the privilege to pray with you and stand in agreement with you.

If you have received an answer to your prayers regarding the job interview, we would love to hear your praise report. It would be an encouragement to us all. If you are still awaiting an answer, or if the news was not what you had hoped, please share that with us too. We want to continue standing with you in prayer, trusting in God's perfect timing and plan.

As for your friends, we continue to lift them up in prayer, asking God to comfort them, to give them strength, and to help them find peace in Him. We pray for healing for ###, both physically and emotionally.
