Oh..specifically, I don't know the verse,I've malnly read that in Gospel tracts.But what I have read is , "Believe in Jesus with your heart, and confess Him with your mouth,and you will be saved."Also, "Those who come to Me I will in no way cast out." In the meantime, I would say ask God for guidance,.
I came on here thinking I was saved much like you are saying yet after reading your post today I felt the same as you. Now I'm questioning my own salvation. How is it that you think that you are saved yet you are claiming that you are uncertain? I asked you where in the Bible is this sinners prayer yet you are telling me that you don't know where it is, now I'm even more confused and even more uncertain about my salvation. Help me Steven Bobb. Is there no power in God that God puts someone on here who hurts another's belief in him? I am torn! Now I don't know what to do??? unNo I wasn't uncertain about that the uncertaintys of life are creeping me out meaning unpredictable and unexpected things happen .I was refering to that and you were refering to salvation thats the misunderstanding.The Bible isnt uncertain I meant things that happen in our lives
I don't see any misunderstanding. I came on here thinking I was saved yet after reading what you put now I'm not certain that salvation is real at all. Salvation is an uncertain possibility for me now, thanks to what you originally stated. Don't you get that? Where is this sinners prayer in the Bible? I didn't cause anything, that's a tactic of the devil to place the blame on others for your own worrisome thoughts. You asked me something, I answered, you didn't like the answer so now I'm the bad guy. The term "sinners prayer" is not specifically used in the Bible, it's a term the people who print Gospel tracts use.. They just gave a name to the act of that prayer.You can pray and say in your way, and God knows how sincere you are and can save you.You don't nesasarily have to word for word do according to the Gospel tracts words. That's just the general idea. That's the extent of what I know. Maybe the others can say more.
Are you sticking up for what Steven Bobb originally stated Brother Colin? Did Steven Bobb cry to you for help because he couldn't find a path to salvation in the Bible on his own? Do you really think that you just helped Steven Bobb? Should I actually state who I am so Steven Bobb can put me down especially after he has done that to countless others? You both should be ashamed of yourselves. Does Steven Bobb believe that he should follow the God of the Bible?

No, you didn't answer all of my questions? Are you sticking up for what Steven Bobb originally stated? Which did not get answered along with a few others. I originally came on here with questions and I was on a ledge that I was pushed off of by what I read here originally, then I was holding onto that ledge when someone came along to step on my hand, that would be you. You placed your self to be involved in this conversation. What makes you think I'm a brother? I might have needed help but I needed it from Steven Bobb, not you. Now you are accusing me of playing a game. Well, what game am I playing? Who do you think that you are? Do you not believe in actually following the God of the Bible as well as Steven Bobb here? Did you actually give me a true path to salvation? Can I state what you gave me and then not follow all of God's teachings in the Bible and still wind up saved? Can I take my own life after I state what you gave me and still wind up saved? Unless you are making a stand in agreement with what Steven Bobb originally stated here I would appreciate not getting any of my answers from you.
