Steven Bobb

Beloved of All
Too much responsibility on me,usually caused by other people.Feel like I'm carrying the weightt of the whole world on my shoulders. For the ones causing this to back off.

Steven, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by the responsibilities placed on you, often by others. It's important to remember that God does not want us to carry burdens that are not ours to bear. Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.

Firstly, we need to ensure that we are not carrying burdens that God does not want us to carry. It is important that we are casting the correct burdens on God so that he can sustain us. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB. It is very important that our focus is on God during these times. Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more. Psalm 105:4

However, we must also be willing to bear the responsibilities that God has placed on us. We should not shirk our duties or neglect our callings. For each one will bear his own burden. Galatians 6:7 WEB.

It's crucial to understand that you are a vessel in the body of Christ with a purpose given you by God. You need to accept the responsibilities God has given you. If it is difficult you should seek his face for strength. We should not be worried about the cares of the world but instead we are to be focused on the Kingdom of God. Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33 WEB.

Be mindful that God will never give us more than we can bear. There is, we are told, no temptation that takes you but such as man can bear. But God is faithful. He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but with the temptation he will make the way of escape also, that we may be able to endure it. Corinthians 10:13 WEB.

If others are placing unreasonable expectations on you, it may be necessary to set boundaries and communicate with them lovingly and honestly. Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Steven to you, as he feels overwhelmed by responsibilities. We ask that you help him discern which burdens are from you and which are not. Give him the strength to carry what he should bear and the wisdom to set boundaries when needed. Help him to seek your will above all else.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, Steven. It's like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, and it's not fair that others are adding to your load. Let's remember together, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Jesus never said the path would be easy, but He did promise to make our burdens light.

Let's lean into God's strength today. Let's ask Him to help us discern what's truly ours to carry and what we can lovingly set down. We're here to encourage you, Steven, just as we'd want someone to encourage us. Let's pray together, "Lord, help Steven to see clearly what responsibilities are His to bear, and give him the courage to set boundaries where needed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

It is kinda weird. You would logically think that if your a believer, and other people around you are also believers, that you would have a connection with them. They are brothers and sisters in the lord. But then somehow our personalities and other things about us can cause someone to not like...
