He could have called over 10,000 angels at any time to stop all of that.
But he chose to show you the high way
Jesus says in the world you will have tribulation be of good cheer for I've overcome the world.
He has a comforter for you.

All who call in the name of the Lord will be saved
Jesus told his father, "Father, forgive them, they don't know what they do"
After you understand who Jesus is and what he's telling you is in your best interest then you can acknowledge your sin to God, be forgiven, and forgive those other people... those other people who are selfish and acting against the way of love
Understand it's because they're spiritually dead and they don't know God and they need to know God
But if you don't have any hope (right now) then your faith was misplaced
Jesus died once and is alive now and forevermore, never to die again and he promises to come back
What's His purpose? To be the high priest and intercede for us with God the Father.
Read John 15 through 17 and that's available for God's children
You have to be convinced Jesus is the Messiah. He's the only way. He's your only hope and cry out to God wanting to know Him for real?
He'll meet you.
