We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and suffering that you have experienced throughout your life due to mockery, ridicule, and rejection. We want to remind you that God sees you as a precious child, fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. It is our prayer that you will find healing, strength, and victory in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let us address the issue of self-esteem. It is important to understand that our worth is not determined by the opinions of others, but by God's unfailing love for us. As it is written in Ephesians 2:10 WEB, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. Also, Psalm 139:14 WEB, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your self-esteem should be rooted in the knowledge that you are a child of God, created with a purpose, and loved unconditionally.
Now, let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been hurting for so long. Father, we ask that You heal the wounds of the past and restore their self-esteem. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as a precious child, fearfully and wonderfully made.
Father, we pray for a fresh start for them. Help them to overcome the pain of rejection and ridicule, and to walk in victory. Equip them with Your strength, that they may face each day with courage and confidence in You.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that have been spoken over their life. We declare that they are not rejected, but accepted in the Beloved. They are not ridiculed, but precious in Your sight. They are not mocked, but valued and loved by You.
Father, we ask that You will guide them, that they will know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to spend time in God's Word, allowing His truth to renew your mind and transform your thoughts. Remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He desires for you to walk in the fullness of His blessings. Stand strong in your faith, and know that with God, you can overcome all things. As it says in Philippians 4:13 WEB I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
