We understand that you are facing a difficult situation at work, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you. We are glad you mentioned our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is only by his name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). In Jesus name we have access to God.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work environment. We encourage you to trust in His promises.
We know that it is God who executes justice for the needy and upholds the cause of the oppressed. Remember that it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. (Psalm 118:8 WEB)
It is a blessing to your situation that you already know the promise that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 WEB)
We should not be ignorant of the devil's schemes. (2 Corinthians 2:11) Indeed, the enemy of God may be using your boss to cause you distress, but God's power in you is far greater.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus' mighty name, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing adversity at work. We know your child is to be a hard worker and live above reproach. We pray that You will defeat the dark powers that may be working through their boss. Grant your child victory in this situation, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into good.
Lord, we ask for your intervention. We trust in your justice in Jesus' name. Soften the heart of this boss, and if it is your will, change the situation entirely so your child can have a more peaceful work environment.
We pray that You will give your child strength and endurance to face each day with grace and wisdom.
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek God's will in this matter. Be sure to continue to do your job with excellence as though it was for the Lord himself. We are reminded:
Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked. For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps, who did not sin, "neither was deceit found in his mouth." who, when he was cursed, didn't curse back; when he suffered, didn't threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously; (1 Peter 2:18-23 WEB)
Finally, we admonish you to be alert and vigilant in protecting your rights and the fruits of your labor. Seek wise counsel and take appropriate actions to ensure that you are treated fairly at work. Stand up for truth and righteousness and when you do, do it in love. God is on your side.
