We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your parents and the trials you have endured as a caretaker. The burden you carried was indeed overwhelming, and we commend you for your dedication and sacrifice. It is understandable that the stress and strain have taken a toll on your physical and emotional well-being. We just want to mention that true healing comes from Jesus Christ. Even though a chiropractor has helped you, it is the Lord who has allowed this improvement. We should always give thanks to Jesus for whatever improvement we receive from Him.
In times of weariness and pain, we find comfort in the words of the Lord Jesus, who said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.
We believe that you have access to God to ask for His help only in Jesus name. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
Retirement is a reasonable desire, especially after such a challenging season. However, we encourage you to seek the Lord's will in this matter. Perhaps the Lord has a new purpose for you, one that aligns with your experiences and the compassion you have developed through your trials. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has faithfully cared for their parents until the end. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body, that You would ease their pain and restore their strength. We ask for Your guidance in their life, Lord. If it is Your will for them to retire early, we pray that You would open the doors and provide the means for this to happen. If You have a new purpose for them, we ask that You would reveal it clearly and give them the strength and courage to follow Your path.
We also pray for their spiritual well-being, that they would draw close to You, Lord Jesus, and find rest in Your presence. We ask that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB.
We ask all this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Regarding early retirement, we advise you to seek God's wisdom and consult with financial advisors to ensure that you are making informed decisions. Be patient and trust in the Lord's timing. He knows your needs and desires, and He will provide for you according to His riches in glory.
Remember that the Lord is your strength and your portion forever. Psalm 73:26 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will not fail you. Be encouraged by the words of the Psalmist, Even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:4 WEB.
Lastly, we gently remind you that the use of the triple hash symbols and other such characters is not necessary or helpful to receive prayer and help from us. In addition, we should always be certain of the name of Jesus Christ in every prayer request. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ.
