Servant of All
Lord, I lift up Kalbert, who is experiencing deep distress and anguish after retiring from a job that he loved. Lord, help him to see that his decision to retire early may not have been a mistake, but Your will for him. I ask that You will comfort him if this was a mistake, but I also ask that You will show him how You may intend for this to be a blessing in disguise! Please guide him in a different direction to glorify You. Lord, we make plans for our careers, but You order our steps. I know that You can turn any situation around for our good, and I am asking You to do this for Kalbert! Please help him Lord to have a peace and an understanding of why this might have happened, and allow him to see how You can use this for blessings! Grant him wisdom and knowledge over his work as he seeks You for his life. Lord, we are not perfect and sometimes we do make decisions hastily, without praying about it first and seeking Your will. But I know that regardless of what happened yesterday, we should not worry about tomorrow. Instead, we should trust You enough to know that You will take care of us. You have a plan for Kalbert! You will take care of him! You are in control! Thank You Jesus for Your Word and Your Promises! I stand in the gap for Kalbert today, Lord. I lift him up to You! I pray for encouragement and joy! May he see Your hand at work in his life today!
