Jesus says, “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices–mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.”

Jesus was not discouraging the practice of giving. He was reminding religious leaders that giving was about more than just money. Giving to God was about a person’s heart. It was one of the many ways a person could offer their lives and dedicate themselves to God.

This sentiment echoes another time Jesus expressed frustration with the practices of the Pharisees and leaders of the law. In Matthew 15:8-9 Jesus says, “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.” More than anything, Jesus is after the hearts of men and women. Financial giving only mattered to God when it was done with a worshipful heart.

yeah rules and traditions of man. False prophet teachings, that taint the water and now makes it red with good peoples blood. Those are the way revelations is being fulfilled now already.

Those who love the Jesus with all their heart, mind and soul will tithe and give offerings for the pòor and destitute. Tithing is another way to praise God, His blessings continue to fall on those who obey His word.

I tithe, I give my all to Jesus. From Him cometh all things that we have right now and to Him shall go every single blessings we have received. Just be thankful for what you have. The Lord will continue to bless your life as you obey His word.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus, what an honor it is to be Your ambassador, God. Help me to stay on mission today, tomorrow, and for always honoring Your purpose for my life. Keep me focused on Your will in every relationship so I can represent You well to others. God do this for everyone who prays this prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Forgive me if I stir the pot. There's no intent to offend. First a tithe and an offering are two different things. Paul speaks of an offering in:

1 Corinthians 16:
1.
Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do.
2. On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.
[No mentioned of any set percentage, in fact one could exceed 10 percent if they are lead to.]

Also Paul had collected for the poor in Jerusalem through the generosity of the Antioch church. Again no mention of percentage.

NOW tithing is found in the old testament.
The Israelites were to honor God by giving the first fruits of what our Lord in effect gave to them.

Leviticus 27:30
“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.”
The Israelites were obligated to give.
However when Christ died on the cross for us, He fulfilled the requirements of the Law and fulfilled the tithing obligation. To insist that it is still in effect, is to take away in part, the sacrifice of Christ and restoring the idea of justification by works.

However the bible clearly mentions that Jesus became the first fruit
-God's tithe for us.

1 Corinthians 15:20
“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep”

God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

Tithing will not save you. Jesus will. And offering, which can be money, service, praises and even your time, are all acceptable if done with gratitude. Giving with a joyful heart stem from love, and love is at the heart of all commandments.

So by all means give but give lovingly!

I wonder why you didn't make reference to the words of Jesus" you should have practice the latter without neglecting the former" . Even though tithe will not save people, it's Biblical principle not condemned by our Lord Jesus but encouraged.
