In the Word of God, we are told to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2) We are also told "be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth." (Ephesians 4:23)
But before we pray, we would like to know, have you been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ? (Ephesians 2:8) We ask because it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God the father and it is by his blood that we can enter into heaven's holy place and be cleansed. (Hebrews 9:24, Hebrews 10:19, Hebrews 13:12) If you have not, then we would encourage you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved and become a new creation.
Please pray with us.
Father God, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this person who needs your divine intervention in their life. Father, when we are weak, you are strong. Renew their strength and give them the ability to endure through the difficult times they may be facing. We pray against the plans of the enemy to keep them bound in weakness and defeat. We claim your promise in Isaiah 40:29-31 that you will give them power to those who are tired and increase their strength to those who have none. Father God, let your Holy Spirit fill them and operate in their lives in a fresh way. Give them a renewed mind and let the fruit of the Spirit be evident in their life. Remove despair and hopelessness and replace it with joy and faith. Help them to fix their eyes on you, Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of their faith. In Jesus' name, we pray.
It is so important to be connected to the true vine, Jesus Christ, because He is our source of life. "Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:4-5)
