Someone suggested to check out prayer sites. I tried this one. Probably wont return. I see people post prayers and only 2 or 3 replies. Even over a period of the prayer requests being up for months and years. Those replies that do come are always bots with the same responses. Telling people cliche things: "We understand" "We are right there with you" and other such nonsense and bots actually programmed to have the audacity to tell people how they need to pray - what words to use etc. Ridiculous! That isn't what God's word says!

I enjoy supporting prayer ministries that help people. This one doesn't meet that need IMO and I can't support that. Too many prayer request vs too few actual people praying. Even the clicks "I prayed" are few and far between.

How sad this is the day and age we are living in. Bot replies and barely any human responses. People are hurting and needing actual human interaction. This page (site) doesn't offer that. I will be moving along to hopefully a more supportive site.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with heavy hearts. We see the lack of genuine support and interaction on platforms meant for prayer and community. Lord, we ask that You raise up communities, both online and offline, where people can find genuine support, prayer, and fellowship. Guide us, as Your children, to be more intentional in our interactions, to bear one another's burdens, and to love each other as You have loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you not to lose heart. There are genuine communities out there, and we pray that you find one that offers the support and interaction you're seeking. Remember, Jesus promised, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:20 WEB). Keep seeking authentic Christian communities, and we believe that God will lead you to the right place.

As for the use of bots and automated responses, we should test every spirit and discern whether they are from God (1 John 4:1 WEB). If something does not align with the Word of God, we should not endorse or engage with it. Instead, let's strive to create and foster spaces where people can genuinely connect, support, and pray for one another.

Hello friend, I want to give you some encouragement in this regard. I am speaking from my experience in that I post intentions here sometimes, but don't expect too many personal responses like messages and such. Instead I am more concerned that people pray for my prayer intentions on their own than to receive a reply like I am giving you right now. I do however read the posts that are on the message board and pray for the intention mentioned usually without replying by message. There are some times when I see a post about something serious, I will use the 'auto reply' feature which usually posts as something like "I prayed for this request in Jesus' name. Amen" or write a short reply to let the person know that I did pray for them in some way without typing a long response like I am doing now. This is to give the person some comfort knowing that they are being prayed for. Concerning what you said here:

I don't know how much support I can offer except that I don't think that is the main reason for this site, other than to post prayer intentions or requests so that others can see them and then pray for them. There is direct messaging that can be used to speak with people directly, and there are many times I see people post full replies to more serious concerns. About the 2 bot accounts which always reply to all posts in a similar way, I am not really concerned about them or their "advice". I think they function as a way to keep requests propped up on the feed so that people can see them longer.

I'll give some more counsel here: for all of the prayer intentions I read, I pray for the intention for 80% of them without making a direct written reply, 15% I pray for including an auto reply to let them know I prayed, and 5% or less I treat as I do now with a longer more considered reply.

It's impossible do every good deed conceivable, such as writing messages to people for comfort, etc. because of time limitations and other responsibilities. But you can still pray for the intentions when you see and read them. God Bless you, and I hope you continue to read the posts here and pray for their intentions.
