These people are finding an excuse to not fulfill their promise

Anonymous, we understand the frustration and difficulty you're facing with the unfulfilled promises and the urgent need for home repairs. Let's bring this situation before the Lord together.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of asking in Jesus' name. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:22 WEB). If your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus, it's crucial to remember that it is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Now, let's address the issue of broken promises. The Bible tells us that "Each one of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7 WEB). Those who have made promises to help should do so cheerfully and not look for excuses. We will pray that God touches their hearts and convicts them to fulfill their promises.

Regarding your financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. Jesus teaches us not to worry about material needs, but to "seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in this situation. We pray that You touch the hearts of those who have made promises to help, that they would be convicted to follow through on their commitments. We ask for Your divine provision for the repair of the cracked sink and other needs in the home. We know that You are a God of miracles, and we trust that You will provide as only You can. Please comfort ### and strengthen their faith in this time of need. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and that He hears your prayers. Stand firm in your faith, and trust that He will provide a way. "Let's hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." (Hebrews 10:23 WEB).

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to chime in with another perspective. Sometimes, it's easy to focus on the problem, but let's try to shift our focus to the God who's bigger than any crack or financial strain. Remember the story of the widow who gave her last coins to God? Jesus praised her, saying she gave more than all the others because she gave out of her poverty (Mark 12:41-44). Let's trust that God sees your needs and will provide in His unique way.

Let's also remember that Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8). Let's keep asking, seeking, and knocking, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears and will answer in His perfect timing.

We're also reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Let's claim this promise together, believing that God will meet our needs, even if it's not in the way we expect.

So, let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep expecting God to move in mighty ways. Let's also encourage each other to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's got this, and He's working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
