There's some Catholic comes on here praying ...

Will you sit quiet if someone says something against your own mother? If that's the case how much more Jesus feel when you post these comments about His own Mother?
In the Bible nowhere it says Jesus saying, if you pray to Mary I will not listen.
Instead at the wedding of Cana when they had a shortage of wine, and when Mary told about this, Jesus did the miracle turning water into wine, which is the very first miracle Jesus did upon the request of His Mother.
At the Cross Jesus told John to take care of His mother Mary, which shows His care for her.
Mary is Jesus's Holy Mother whom the Lord chose as His Mother out of all women ever lived.
If both Moses and Elijah appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration, Mary is also very much alive!
Yes it's through Jesus one enter into heaven, but how will Jesus ever deny a request from His own Mother.
There
But why are you posting against Mary if someone prays to Mary? Do you think Jesus like it?
Jesus never said to put His mother on a Godly level .If someone prayed to my mother I would say the same. The Lords Prayer says you must pray this wayOur Father who art in Heaven ...

But why are you posting against Mary if someone prays to Mary? Do you think Jesus like it?
We are told that in everything we do, we must do it with love. There's no hate towards anyone. The Father selected Mary to hold the son of God in her womb. Mary was blessed. However Jesus and only Jesus is our Mediator, not Mary.

1) Jesus is Lord of all (Acts 10:36; Rom. 10:12), and has all authority in heaven and earth (Matt. 28:18). This most certainly states that Jesus is above Mary. I realize that in the Apostle's Creed that Jesus is exalted in writing (at least in this declaration) but unfortunately not in Catholic practise. Mary is!

2) We are to have fellowship with the Son
1 John 1:3
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

NOTE: This is set after Jesus's death. We our to fellowship with The Father and Son.The loving Apostle John does not mentioned Mary.

3) Jesus said that his followers could ask him for things when He was in Heaven:

JOHN 14:12-14
12. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
13. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do.
Again we pray through Jesus.

4) Jesus is our only Mediator.

1 Timothy 2:5

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.

I was a Catholic. I know their views. I recited the rosary (which hail Mary is at the epicenter of this devotion). We pray through Jesus, our only Mediator. Go in peace my friend.

There's no hate here. But when someone post something against Mary, disrespecting her it is not good. The name of this plaform itself is prayer request. Each one is praying for one another. Why are they requesting others to pray for them, if they can pray directly?
If that's the case, how much more they can pray to Mary, who is very much alive!
Will she not listen to their prayers and request to Jesus who is the mediator?
If Jesus did the miracle in Cana wedding through Mary's request, will He not do it for all who's praying to Mary or will He not listen?
In Hebrews it says that we can boldly walk into the most holy place through Jesus. We don't require a middle man (woman) to Jesus.

Hebrews 10
19. Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,
20. by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,
21. and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
22. let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

Ephesians 3:12
In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

A new way has opened up for us. We have a great High Priest to mediate for us... Jesus. We should all have confidence to boldly step into the Most Holy Place and fellowship with Jesus. We have faith in Jesus where we may approach God. It is what the above verses state. No disrespect intended, no other person is needed. Jesus is the entire package. We pray through Jesus and no other person.

I'm not here to disrespect you and I know this goes against your beliefs. But there is no other person to pray through. Just Jesus. We were not given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and discipline. We pray to God through Jesus.
Embrace all of Jesus and His magnificent glory -our only Mediator who is second to none.

Yes Jesus is the mediator.
In this prayer request platform, everyone pray for one another. Why is that?
Why don't they pray directly ? Why do they request others to pray for them?
If Jesus listen to all these prayers, will He not listen to Mary?

It surprises me why people are so stubborn with Mary alone, but will request their friends ( men and women) to pray for them or anyone else.
They forget the fact that Mary is the Mother of Jesus, and He will never deny a request from His Mother.
We pray FORothers not TOothers

Its true we can pray for ourselves straight to God.I guess we feel more strength through others.BUT you guys dont even ask Jesus through Mary you directly say Mother Mary do this and this .She was not granted these powers.

Why should you pray for others. Please explain
We're you not asking us to pray for you?

James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Matthew 5:44
But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

1 Timothy 2:1–4

1. First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
2. for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
3. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
4. who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We pray for all people, including self.

Again I did not intend to select Anonymous.

So you yourself are not sure about!
Mary is not God.
We don't have any problem praying to Mary as she is very much alive and can request to Lord our needs.
Show me in the Bible where it says Not to pray to Mary?
Asking a living person to pray is not beeseeching the dead Maty is alive in Heaven but has died in the body.

Wow, do you not read the New Testament...

Praying for Others

James 5:16

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Matthew 5:44
But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [our Lord is instructing us to pray for others]

Praying for others is scriptural but praying to Mary is not! Jesus our High Priest, has given us the privilege to approach God with confidence, in the Most Holy Place. We don't need anyone but Jesus. I will not negate this privilege of being able to stand in the proverbial Holy Place through Jesus. Should we forfeit this direct access to the Father by going through someone else? Only Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
You can skip all the verses that I put up there but it won't change anything. I do not disrespect Mary, for our Father selected her to carry Jesus in the womb, but she is not and will never be equal to Jesus.
