The Bridegroom's
'I do'

Matthew 24:44
Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect, the Son of Man will come.
World English Bible

This verse needs to be taken to heart. Whether it is implying the 'end times' of this world or your personal end time, it makes no difference. Your marching order stays the same; 'Be ready for Jesus.'
Matthew 25
1. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
(An inference to God's people and the wicked people)
3. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: (did not have the Holy Spirit)
4. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. (The righteous carried the Anointing Spirit inside them.)
5. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.(While Jesus was away, the brides fell asleep -refers to death)
6. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. (The proverbial last trumpet blew and the Groom returned)
7. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. (The trimming was a process of removing the charred portion of the wick, and raising the wick itself. It implies that the physical was dispensed of and a new wick or body arose. But not so for the foolish.)
8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. (The foolish went away to buy oil, while the wise brides had been vigilant and were ready for the wedding)
11. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. (The foolish were not ready, they had not kept their lamp burning, consequently the Bridegroom rejected them.)
13. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh

Be ready. Stay strong. You need to labour in His Love and fight a good fight of faith. Your heart has to be ready, worthy for the Holy Bridegroom to come for you. Keep your heart lit with His Holy Spirit. Your end time is guaranteed (either by your personal death or by the big biblical event.) Only the Father's Bridegroom knows the date. So stay mindful of your heart. Being spiritually ready 'now' assures you of those two words you long to hear from the Bridegroom;
'I do!' ❤

Your Bridegroom is coming!

Also, goes back to the point, if a dicatator comes along and tries to force me to do something unGodly, I'm called upon to resist that.,that's fine, and understandable...if it's just some stupid obstacle that pops up from living in the fallen world,to me, there's no spiritual edification is stepping on a tack , or getting a splinter or a hangnail, etc.Someone giving a testimony that getting a splinter made them a better Christian...I say, seperation of the 2, religious persecution vs, dealing with imperfections of the fallen world.

But does your here and now benefits God? Death and/or rapture can happen during a 'imperfect fallen world' moment.

Well, even serving God in the here and now is sometimes affected by the circumstances. If I meet someone when I stop in a store, and I try to witness to them, but it's in the middle of a busy day, and as I'm getting to the pivotal point, my cell phone rings with the customer s,"Listen , I need you to do thus and so, and it's an emergency that you do it NOW," Or I take a minute to talk to the unsaved person, and "Where ar you,buh buh buh?If the problem is busyness,it actually DOES influence your here and now,

Absolutely. But I have come to readjust my temperament as I go on with calamity. I'm far from perfect but there's a tangible Peace that slowly returns to me, when I let it return.

The mere fact that you are aware, places you in a better position.
Probably why Jesus went to the wilderness for 40 days, or God called Moses to the mountaintop to get the 10 commandments.I don't think that was concidence. If , for example, one was riding on the highway and they were trying to analyze a certain verse, and in the meantime a tractor trailer stops short in front of them and they're not focused ,they'd go on to be with the Lord sooner than they expected! Meaning, how the busyness distracts is it requires some focus{like in driving situations}, but that focus makes you "postpone" the spiritual thoughts, which is why I think, if it's an "all the time busyness" that might be the devils distraction for that person to keep them away from Godly thoughts, and again, that Jesus going into to the wilderness, or Moses to the mountaintop, was not a coincidence.

Jesus' did speak (counter back) to His distractor (satan) with scripture. Adversary tried to steal His moment but Jesus fired back. 'Now' He was focus! That is what I try to do with any situation. Not easy.
