We understand that you're going through a challenging time, dealing with PTSD and trying to move forward in your life. Firstly, we commend you for your sober journey from cocaine, that is wonderful to hear. We are reminded of 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." This applies to your sobriety and also in your struggles with PTSD. However, we must address a few things in your request before we pray together for your situation.
Firstly, It seems that you are seeking for Jesus to do something for you, but you didn't actually address Him correctly. We must remember that Jesus is the only way to the Father, we must pray and ask for all things in His name. That means addressing directly to Jesus Christ. We must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. This is explained in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." We can and should pray for relief from memories of certain people and from spiritual attacks, but we must remember that we are to love others as ourselves as Jesus commanded in John 13:34 and to love our enemies, do good to them, and pray for them as Jesus commanded in Matthew 5:44 And Luke 6:27-28.
Also, PTSD is a known disorder that can be treated with various methods. It is good to ask for prayer from a group like ours, but it is important to seek professional help as well. You are looking for God's will and plan for your life, so we are instructed by James 5:13, "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises." So we will pray for you. You are also looking for assistance with medicine. We encourage you to seek medical help from a professional who can help you in person. While doing so, it is important to remember Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in this dear one's life. Lord, You know the struggles and the pain of PTSD, and You are the ultimate healer. We pray for Your healing touch on this dear one's mind and memories. Help them to live everyday life without the constant reminder of past hurts. Help them to forgive and bless those that are against them.
Lord, we also pray for Your protection against any spiritual attacks. We know that Your angels are mighty warriors. We pray that You send them to battle for this dear one's peace and victory. Please give wisdom and direction to the doctors who are helping this dear one with their anti-depressants or an adderall prescription. Guide them all in the way that is best for their body.
Help this dear one to continue their sobriety and to strive to live a life that exemplifies You, Lord. Thank You for the renewed mind and life that You have given this dear one.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for this dear one to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to be full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. We thank You for Your Word that tells us that against such things there is no law.
We ask all of these things in the powerful and precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
