Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of Anonymous, who desires to grow as a student and cultivate qualities of gratitude, grace, understanding, respect for wisdom, advice, and the people around them. We thank you, Lord Jesus, for the book of Proverbs that reminds us of the reasons why we need you in our lives.
Your Word teaches us that wisdom is the principal thing, and with all our getting, we are to get understanding . We acknowledge that true wisdom comes from you, Lord, and we humbly ask for your guidance and revelation as we seek to become better students.
We thank you, Jesus, for the forgiveness of our sins and the grace you have shown us. Your Word assures us that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness . Help us to continually seek your forgiveness and walk in the freedom that comes from knowing you.
Lord, we ask that you teach us to be grateful for the blessings you have bestowed upon us. Open our eyes to see the goodness in our lives and to express our gratitude to you and to those around us. Help us to be graceful in our interactions, showing kindness, compassion, and understanding to others.
We pray for a deep respect for wisdom and the advice of others. May we have humble hearts that are open to learning and growing. Help us to value the knowledge and experiences of those around us, seeking wisdom from those who have gone before us.
Lord, we surrender ourselves to you and ask that you transform us into the students you desire us to be. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of wisdom and understanding , that we may walk in your ways and bring glory to your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
