Heavenly Father, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude and praise. We thank you for the gift of this day, which you have mercifully granted to us anew. We acknowledge you as the Most High God, worthy of all honor and praise. Your creation, the earth and all that is in it, is a testament to your greatness and beauty. We join with heaven and nature in singing your praises.
We are reminded of the words in Psalm 100:4, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise." We enter into your presence with hearts overflowing with thankfulness. We recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from you , and we are grateful for your abundant blessings.
As we lift our voices in praise, we also lift up our prayers and petitions to you. We ask that you continue to guide and lead us according to your will. May your kingdom come and your will be done in our lives and in the world around us. Help us to seek you first and to delight ourselves in you, knowing that you will fulfill the desires of our hearts .
We also pray for those who are facing difficult circumstances, such as the child with leukemia mentioned in the source material. We ask for your healing touch and comfort to be upon them. We know that nothing is impossible for you , and we trust in your power and love.
