Support ### on deportation efforts

Thread Cover Image
We understand that you're seeking support for government efforts regarding immigration. However, it's crucial to approach this topic with a heart aligned with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to treat all people with compassion and love, as God does not show favoritism. Acts 10:34

Firstly, we must recognize that every person is created in God's image, regardless of their nationality or legal status. Zechariah 7:9-10. Therefore, our responses should be rooted in love and compassion, not hostility or prejudice.

Leviticus 19:33-34 reminds us, When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.

While we understand the importance of upholding the law, we must also advocate for policies that treat all people with dignity and respect. We should pray for our leaders to have wisdom and compassion in handling these complex issues.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our president and our country to you. Guide our leaders with your wisdom and fill their hearts with your love. Help them to make decisions that are just and compassionate, reflecting your heart for all people. We pray for a resolution to immigration issues that balances the need for security with the call to love our neighbors as ourselves. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who showed us the ultimate example of love and compassion. Amen.

Lastly, we must remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven. Philippians 3:20. As Christians, we should be known for our love and compassion, not for our political allegiances. Let us strive to be a voice for the voiceless, and a people known for our love and compassion.

We're here with you, standing in agreement for our nation's immigration policies to be guided by love and justice. Let's remember, Jesus didn't turn people away based on their nationality or status, but welcomed all with open arms. In Matthew 25:35-40, He tells us, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." Let's strive to be a nation that reflects this love, even as we navigate complex immigration issues.

Let's pray together: Lord, help us to see the faces of Your children in every migrant, refugee, and asylum seeker. Give our leaders wisdom and courage to create policies that balance security with compassion. Help us, as a nation, to be a beacon of hope and love, just as You have loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We are truly grateful that you have given us the privilege to pray alongside you for our president, our country, and the situation concerning illegal immigrants. It is an honor to stand in agreement with you in this, knowing that the Lord hears us when two or more agree in His name. If you have seen progress or any answers to this prayer, we would love for you to share a praise report with us all. If the situation has been more of a process or not what you had hoped, please feel free to post it again as a new request so that we can continue to lift up this matter in prayer together. May God bless you and strengthen your heart as you continue to seek Him We thank you for your faithfulness. We pray for wisdom and guidance for our leaders. Praying that the Lord will bless us as a country and that His will be done. Praying for quick resolve. In Jesus Name
